Über Tong Zhang-Colussi About Tong Zhang-Colussi
Tong Zhang-Colussi, Mag.art. — geboren 1989 in Peking. Erste musikalische Ausbildung ab dem vierten Lebensjahr, ergänzt durch Schauspiel, Tanz und Literatur. Tong Zhang-Colussi, Mag.art. — born 1989 in Beijing. Early musical training from age four, supplemented by acting, dance and literature.
2007 begann er das Studium der Musiktechnologie in Peking, 2009 wechselte er nach Wien, um das Tonmeisterstudium an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (mdw) zu absolvieren. In 2007 he began studying music technology in Beijing; in 2009 he moved to Vienna to pursue the Tonmeister program at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
Seit 2012 arbeitet Tong als Tonmeister und Sounddesigner im Film-, Fernseh- und Musikbereich. Mit innovativer Technik und hohem künstlerischem Anspruch etablierte er rasch eine eigene Position in der Branche. Since 2012 Tong has worked as a Tonmeister and sound designer in film, television and music. With innovative techniques and high artistic standards, he quickly established his own position in the industry.
2022 begann er das künstlerische Doktoratsstudium an der mdw im Bereich Sound for Film. 2023 erhielt er das BMKÖS Startstipendium. In 2022 he began his artistic doctoral studies at mdw in the field of Sound for Film. In 2023 he received the BMKÖS Start Grant.
Schwerpunkte: Musikfilm, Dokumentation, Kunstfilm und besondere künstlerische Filmformate. Focus areas: music film, documentary, art film and special artistic cinematic formats.
